Does anyone even watch boxing anymore? I used to be a fan but it has pretty much been replaced by all this mma crap…anyway I digress. A fighter puts himself through rigorous training sessions to keep himself in shape and prepare for an upcoming fight. There is an ideal weight, that depending on the individuals body type, a fighter will be most effective at. Adversity in your life puts you into a state of mind that enables you deal with anything that is thrown at you. Think of how much you would get accomplished if you felt really comfortable all the time. Not much. Adversity = getting out of your comfort zone which = training yourself to be successful at life. How? Because you are gaining experience. And everyone knows Mike Tyson didn’t get to the top until he had quite a few fights…and then he bit Holyfield’s ear off. That is a whole different issue.
Today’s Action: Do something outside of your comfort zone. Do that one thing that you have been meaning to do but haven’t because you get that little twinge of fear every time you think about it. I think for most people stepping outside their comfort zone means putting themselves in an unfamiliar situation. Talk to that girl. Sign up for the gym. Quit the job you hate. Go out and meet new people. Put yourself out there. Go out and get some experience.
